Who-Are-You-In-Christ

who-are-you

Have you ever sat down to ask yourself this intentional question, Who am I in christ? Who are you in christ? Why are you on the earth? Why didn’t you die when you were a child? Why didn’t you die in that accident? I don’t have a sermon for the topic, but I do have some references from the bible.

I think everyone in the earth realm should ponder on this question, ask yourself the reason why you are here.

The who are you in christ question is in two phases
1. Your identity in Christ
2. Your purpose on the earth
I will be focusing on the latter and will talk on the former in another post.

Your purpose on the earth

Your purpose is the reason for your existence, that is, the reason why you were formed/ created.
Every manufacturer manufactures a product with an intention/purpose In mind, for example, A washing machine serves the purpose of washing cloth, a soap is used for washing.

Society, experience and challenges might bring different suggestion about your purpose to you and at some point you might even begin go guess, your purpose cannot be guessed.
What I think you should do is to ask the manufacturer his reasons for creating you, only him knows.

Lets take a look at what the Apostle Paul told Archippus about his purpose in Colossians 4:7
“And say to Archippus, take heed to the ministry thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it”.
The Apostle Paul probably sensed that the way Archippus was going, he was probably out of purpose, so he had to call back his attention to it.
“Thou hast received in the Lord”
Your purpose is different from your talent, that’s why most persons are using their talent for the devil, but your purpose can only be discovered in God.
Let’s take a look at our lord Jesus Christ in John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that he sent his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish”.

Jesus was sent to reconcile men back to the father, that was his purpose.

One thing about purpose is that it will always have something to do with meeting the needs of men and for kingdom enhancement.
Your purpose can never be for your own selfish interest.

Even Jesus died so that men will be delivered from the destruction sin brought.
The reason why you are bittered about someone that has discovered his/her purpose and is making progress is because you have not discovered yours.

Find your place in the body of Christ, there is a lot apportioned to you.
Every man on earth was created with a purpose, no man on the earth is purposeless, No.
God does not create a thing for no reason, he create things for different reasons,
“Take heed to the ministry the lord has given you and see that thou fulfil it”
Take heed means take note, discover, find.
The place of your lot is where the devil attacks the most.
If you are called to be an healing evangelist, he smites you with all manner of disease, if you are called to be a kingdom financier he smites you with poverty, so that the original intent of the thing will not be known.
Take a look at the Apostle Paul, before he got saved, he was an instrument used for the killings of christians, the devil was trying to truncate the original intent.

Why are you here? What’s the lot apportioned to you? Hope you are in purpose and not out of purpose, take heed and see that thou fulfil the ministry given to you in the lord.

Watch out for my next post.
